The systematic name of this enzyme class is thiosulfate:6-decylubiquinone oxidoreductase. Other names in common use include thiosulfate:quinone oxidoreductase, thiosulphate:quinone oxidoreductase, thiosulfate oxidoreductase, tetrathionate-forming, and TQO.
