Leonard Tomide Akinribido, SSA to the Ondo State Governor on ICT (born 1987) is a Nigerian politician and public servant. He currently serves as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Ondo State Governor on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and oversees the State Information Technology Agency (SITA). He was formerly a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, representing Ondo West Constituency 1 from 2019 to 2023..[1]

Political career

Akinribido was elected to the Ondo State House of Assembly in 2019, representing Ondo West Constituency 1, under the platform of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).[2] [3]

In February 2024, Akinribido decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC), followed by his appointment as the SSA to the Governor on ICT.[4]

In August 2024, Akinribido was appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo State on ICT.[5]

Akinribido was awarded the Ondo State Legislator of the Year in 2021 by Hero Magazine.[6]
