The Top of the World IPC was a biennial international piano competition in Tromsø, Norway from 2009–2019.[1] Its first edition took place from June 14–19, 2009 and was won by Mariangela Vacatello.

The board of the Top of the World International Piano Competition has decided to suspend future competitions indefinitely. While we are all very unsure how the future health and financial situation will develop, the board continues to strive for the competition's continuation at the appropriate time. 18 brilliant pianists have been awarded prizes through the years of 2009-2019, you may listen to their excellent performances on YouTube.
