Linehan gives an account of his career as the co-creator or creator of the sitcoms Father Ted, Black Books, and The IT Crowd. He also describes the backlash he received when he began publicly criticising what he calls "gender ideology", which he says led to the breakdown of his marriage and lost him work in the television industry.[3]
