Truro station opened on 24 September 1917 with the opening of the branch line from Nuriootpa.[1] The station consisted of a galvanised iron station building, goods shed, turntables and railway yards.[2][3]
The station closed to regular passengers in December 1968. By the 1970s, the Truro line had became the branch line. The line through Truro was closed by 1987 and dismantled.[4]
