The album was promoted by several singles, including "Sorriso grande" and "Camera 209". It peaked at number two on the Italian Albums Chart,[3] becoming the first of the artist not peaking at one;[4] it was certified platinum by FIMI.
"I tried to side with people who were part of my path but also part of my life. And then there were people who came in along the way but left something in me, with whom I was pleased with the idea of being able to share a piece of life: a prime example is Davide Petrella, at least for a couple of years now. [...] This record starts from a precise moment of transition and change in my personal life, and it was nice for me to be able to tell the story and be able to share it through music. [...] In this record there are songs that came before certain things happened in my life, often anticipated them, a kind of magic. The music in short was already speaking to me.
