Tahmir Saiquon Gadsden (born on October 17, 1996) is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Early life and high school
editGadsden graduated from Arlington Country Day School in Jacksonville, FL and completed a year at Believe Prep in Rock Hill, SC
College career
editVincennes University
editGadsden played his freshman season at Vincennes University. He helped the team advance to semifinals of NJCAA National Tournament. He averaged 16 points, 1.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists that season. He played in all 37 games and scored 20 or more points on 14 occasions.
University of North Carolina Wilmington
editGadsden transferred to University of North Carolina Wilmington his sophomore year. During his junior year, he ranked second on the team in scoring. He sat out the first ten games of his junior year following off-season surgery.[1]

editOklahoma City Blue (2021)
editOn October 25, 2021 the Oklahoma City Blue claimed Gadsden from the player pool. On November 2, 2021, they placed his contract on waivers.
Maine Celtics (2022)
editOn January 9, 2022, the Maine Celtics claimed Gadsden from the player pool. On January 28, 2022, they placed his contract on waivers.[2]
Rayos de Hermosillo (2022)
editOn April 11, 2022, the Rayos de Hermosillo signed Gadsden. He played in thirty seven games and averaged 10 points per game, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.[3]
Plymouth City Patriots (2023)
editOn January 10, 2023, Gadsden signed with Plymouth City Patriots. He played in 15 games and averaged 12.6 points per game, 2.7 rebounds per game and 1.8 assists per game.[4]
