Building model of Lee Tung Street

Lee Tung Avenue (Chinese: 利東街) , once named as Avenue Walk (囍歡里) is a shopping mall on 200 Queen's Road East at Wan Chai of Hong Kong. On top of it, is a residential building The Avenue. All jointly developed by Sino GroupHopewell Holdings and Urban Renewal Authority. Shopping mall is solely managed by Sino Group, yet rental income are shared on ratio of 4:6. Lee Tung Avenue was opened on 28 November of 2015, and officially commenced on the first quarter of 2016.[1]

Layout

With its three levels, it provides 87700 square feet floor area in total. Size of rental units range from one hundred to one thousand squares feet.

On surface level, a 170-meter-long green avenue range through  shopping mall. As for building design, it aim to build a fusion of Chinese and West, new and old.


Sino Group corporate with Towngas, installing fifteen nineteen-century-style gaslight on the avenue. All are 5.2 meters  height, which is the highest in Hong Kong. These gasline are intended to out-stand the historical meaning and heritage, also to relief the feeling of oppression environment. [2]
