Captive breeding

edit

P. nodosa is in the international Partula breeding program and the conservation efforts for this species have been extremely successful, allowing reintroductions since 2015.[3]

Phylogeny

edit

Phylogenetic analyses found that P. nodosa is sister to a clade containing P. otaheitana crassa and an undescribed species.[4]
