There has never been a woman president of the United States. Its been ninty-two years since the 19th amendment to the constitution was added. Only two woman have run for this office; Hillary Clinton in 2008, and Machele Bachmann in 2012. Although there is still time for another woman to emerge as a candidate this year,she has yet to declare.
