About me

edit

Everyone likes doing something that they enjoy. It can even influence your pathway in the future. I personally like singing besides all the things we have to do. When you sing you stimulate a hormone endorphins that is released with singing.[1] This is something I enjoy doing, and I am vey interested in. Also, sometimes I do drawings. I am pretty good at it, so from time to time I do it because I admire the final result of the process. It is amazing seen your art how It turns out simply using a pencil or acrylic pain. I believe that our hobbies is a part of our personalities.

My Wikipedia interests

edit

If am active on Wikipedia, I'll probably be using it to see the results of sportsman such as figure skaters that is just what I am curious about. I used to open it for that. So, I might do the same in the future. Since I am in college, there are always classes that work on some Wikipedia articles. Right now, I have a class in college that requires using Wikipedia.

Article evaluation

edit

I have alway been interested in creating different styles of art. I have done many different styles of art such as acrylic, watercolor, oil drawings. However, I didn't really try to make graphic art. Later, I have got a big interest in graphic art. I started drawing different kinds of drawings using graphic pencils. I got to the point where I started drawing a lot of people. For this reason, I need to learn information about facial proportions. I visited facial symmetry articles, and I have got some aspects that I want to comment on: its global emphasis, its lack of citations, and its lack of illustrations.

Global emphasis

edit

The author of this article did not do lots of research about facial symmetry. Mostly, there is just human history. I expected to see more details such as distance between certain parts of the face. I have seen some articles before that have added this to their article. This is very essential since you want to know how the human face can be copied on a paper. For this reason, the history of the human face is not enough for this article. The author explains the information about symmentry in general.

Citations

edit

This article does not have enough citation words. In my opinion, there are words that need to be cited, since they are rarely used and many people would not know their meaning.  There are some words cited in the beginning of the article. However, those words should not be cited because they are not related to the topic. Plus, this article should have more citation words that can lead you to more information about facial proportions.

Illustration

edit

There are some pictures that show facial symmetry, but the author should have added more. It is much easier for someone who wants to find out something about a summary to look at a picture and compare it with the text . I consider this is worth mentioning here.

Summary

edit

Overall, I would give this article 3 out 5. This article is interesting to read, but there is so much missing information which makes it hard to understand the main concept of facial symmetry. This article contains mostly interesting facts about human faces. You cannot learn a lot from here, if you want to create graphic art.
