About Me
Hello, my name is Amy Nguyen. I am a native Chicagoan. I am currently finishing up my last year at Marquette University, majoring in Physiological sciences. For the time beginning, I am considering adding in a minor before I graduate fall of 2020. Before attending Marquette Marquette University, I was a student at Loyola Chicago University for two years majoring in biology.
Plans After Graduation And Career Goals
After graduation, I hope to find a research position to research Women’s health and figure out which specialty I want to pursue in the healthcare field. I hope to be accepted in either Northwestern University, Loyola Chicago University, or University of Chicago.
Occupation
Besides being a student, I am also a caregiver. I am currently working with a friend (to be politically correct, my client) who is diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Through this experience did I learn how to be patient and be aware of my surroundings.Nevertheless, this opportunity is continuously preparing me for my future in the healthcare field and to build meaningful relationships with not only my friend but as well as with other families I plan to work with.
Hobbies
If I am not studying or working, I like to spend my time working on sketches or paint. I also enjoy reading books at the lakefront. I also try to find time within my schedule to volunteer with Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. I also find it relaxing to go to plant nurseries looking for my next plant baby!
