editDear valued editors and viewers of Wikipedia who happen to be viewing this,
I am a Chicagoland traction (electric interurbans, rapid transit cars, and trolley cars) fanatic and historian, a general Chicagoland historian, and a volunteer conductor at the Fox River Trolley Museum. I deeply enjoy trains (especially traction) and history, and I am always interested in helping preserve Chicagoland's unique traction history. I am also a member of the Blackhawk Chapter of the National Railroad Historical Society and the CERA (Central Electric Railfans' Association).
I take great pride in the work that I do to contribute to the preservation and education about traction and railroad history both here on Wikipedia and out at the museum, and if you have any complaints or suggestions of things to improve upon, feel free to reach out and let me know.
If you too are interested in traction history and preservation and you live in the greater Chicagoland region, come pay us a visit out at the Fox River Trolley Museum!
Railroad Equipment I Have Operated:
- Chicago Aurora and Elgin #458 (b.1945) at the Fox River Trolley Museum
- Chicago Transit Authority #4451 (b.1924) at the Fox River Trolley Museum
- Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee #715 (b.1926) at the Fox River Trolley Museum
