About me
I joined Wikimedia Foundation in July 2019. I have a diverse background in the nonprofit sector, as well as journalism and law. I was previously the communications director at Knight Foundation, working to promote more informed and engaged communities. Before that, I served as a communications officer with the United Nations contributing to global peacekeeping initiatives, as well as a communications consultant with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). I formerly practiced employment law in my hometown of Toronto, Canada. I have a Master's in journalism from New York University and a law degree from Queen's University in Ontario. Miami is my home. I serve on the board of trustees for the Communications Network and Awesome Foundation Miami, and on the Communications Network diversity, equity and inclusion working group.
My work
I work with the communications team to expand Wikimedia's reach and influence, and promote free knowledge everywhere.
