The Battle of Khotan (Chinese: 和田战斗) was a battle that occurred during the Xinjiang Wars. In July 1934, General Ma Zhongying and Ma Hushan led the New 36th Division in an attack on Uyghur forces at Khotan, the last remaining city of the entire Uyghur force.

The last gasp of the First East Turkestan Republic would be found in Khotan, with its leader Muhammad Amin Bughra having to surrender and go into exile in Afghanistan.[1]
