Brody Anthony Ryssemus (born July 22, 1995), known professionally as Lil Bro, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. In 2017, Bro signed his first major-label deal with Shuttle's Magnolia Records.
Bro's first full-length project, his debut studio album, Season (2018), was led by the hit single "Gang". He also appeared on the Lil Squad album Made It to LA. Bro appeared on Shuttle's record label Magnolia Records the highly anticipated compilation album Modern Art.
Bro's musical style has been described as a fusion of traditional hip hop, lo-fi and ambient. Ryssemus has sold over 18 million certified records in the US alone.
Early Life
editBrody Anthony Ryssemus was born in Marin County, California. Ryssemus lived with his mother, father, brother and sister in Novato, Marin County. Located in the north western Bay Area, the neighborhood was notorious for wealthy middle to upperclass families. He never attended collage and his parents kicked him out shortly after high school.
Eventually, Shuttle invited Bro to Los Angeles to kick off his music career.

edit2018-19: Made It to LA, and Season
editMade It to LA was released on February 2, 2018, by Magnolia Records. The album is a collaboration among the members of Lil Squad.
On July 27, 2018, Season or Bro Season, was released.
2020: Modern Art, and Love Yourself
editOn December 25, 2019, Lil Squad released three songs as part of their collaborative album, Modern Art. The song "One Two" debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200.
Artistry
editShuttle has stated that he is influenced by Travis Scott, Kanye West, Frank Ocean and Lil Uzi Vert.
Shuttle makes heavy use of audio manipulation effects such as Auto-Tune, phasing, delays, and stereo-sculpted chorusing and harmony structures, predominantly influenced by producers Mike Dean and Alex Tumay. Shuttle's musical style has been described as a "blend between traditional hip-hop and lo-fi" and often characterized as "ambient". Vulture described Shuttle's sound as "unremittingly dark, syncretic, hi-res, and above all unnatural."
Shuttle has said that he is a fan of film. He has said that he would like to write and direct his own film in the future.
Personal Life
editShuttle began dating Instagram model and DJ Chantel Jeffries in March 2018. The couple separated in June 2019.
Shuttle has also been tied to model Kendall Jenner in early 2020.
