You keep asking how [signature books] help build an encyclopedia. Anything that builds a spirit of friendliness and co-operation and helps people get to know each other as human beings seems to me a good thing. Unlike divisive userboxes, the autograph books seem to just be about saying hello and being friendly. ~ Jimbo Wales, Wikipedia founder

  1. Always wanted to be the first signature in a Guestbook! ––𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗗𝘂𝗱𝗲 talk 20:42, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
  2. Thank you for practicing kindness. You've been shining your light into the grieving heart of a recently-blocked contributor who says out loud the things I always backspace over in my SMS app anytime someone precious to me decides to remove me from their life. I see you, and I appreciate it. Kindness towards our fellow humans is the only thing that will make this work. Meaning our grand endeavour of society, not just this internet encyclopaedia project. Love and kindness. I see you. Thank you. Folly Mox (talk) 05:13, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
I believe you to be the type of person who won't take it the wrong way and feel creeped out about this, so I'd like to express that I love you, the way tributaries join to form a river or the way trees communicate with one another through mycelium. I see you (which upon review, I note I said twice two years ago), and I'm glad you're here.
You recently called yourself a "net negative", and I wanted to email you to register my disagreement, but after you returned the impulse evaporated. Thank you for your energy and kindness. It's not easy having a big heart. If I ever type out the words "towards sainthood" on this site, I'm piping them to your userpage. Folly Mox (talk) 06:39, 10 June 2023 (UTC)

  7. I'm really excited to start editing Wikipedia, and after reading your userpage, very excited you got assigned as my mentor! In the two weeks leading up to creating my account, I got addicted learning about the project and investigating userpages. During this time, I grew an immense appreciation for the project, and the Wikipedia Principles you included only furthered that. Also during my two weeks of building interest, I absolutely loved going to random userpages and learning how awesome many wikipedians are. Many know lots of languages, have cool accreditation, and have super cool interests. With that said, your page illustrates how cool a wikipedian can be! At the same time, learning you are of Ashkenazi Jewish descent, while randomly being assigned to a Mentee of one as well, makes me Kvell! I have trust, that because of our shared value in kindness, that you'll be able to aid me in bettering the project! Everything Not Dead (talk) 13:47, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

  9. I'm frequently encouraged in working on the project by the simple knowledge that you are out there. A guestbook is a great idea :) I just might have to do it myself! --Hammersoft (talk) 19:32, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
