In the Wikipedia article “Wealth inequality in the United States”, the free encyclopedia describes the history of wealth inequality in America and shows data about the American income and stock ownership distribution.
The resources that this article used are from creditable economic and policy rea, which make the article looks believable. Also, the author did not put any personal ideas into the article, instead, there are a lot of creditable data and graphs shows the reader the situation about American wealth inequality.
After reading the article, we can understand the wealth inequality in America is already a problem since early 20th century. It is a historical problem. The article talks about the top 1% richest American gain 93% of the additional income in 2010, which means to me that the rich people are getting richer and having more extra wealth that is not necessary for them but if those wealth are on the poor people, it will be helpful for them to improve their life quality.
