Aaron Lorenz is an American law and society scholar. He is the Dean of the School of Social Science and Human Services and Professor of Law & Society at Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ.

Education and career Aaron Lorenz received his PhD from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2005. His dissertation, "Lyrics and the Law: The Constitution of Law in Music," was chaired by John Brigham. Lorenz holds a M.A. in Political Science from San Diego State University and a B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Chico. Lorenz has served as Pre-Law Advisor, Director of Prestigious Fellowships and Scholarships, Coordinator of Living Learning Community, and Convener (Chair) of Law & Society at Ramapo College. Prior to Ramapo College, Lorenz served as a Visiting Professor and Pre-Law Advisor at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
