Examples include the Parthenon and more specifically for this article, clay pots called amphorae and hydria that were decorated with scenes from myths and legends. In ancient Greek times, these scenes were lively pictures of mythical figures and their adventures.
In the modern age of technology, the phenomena known as film making (what will here be termed "movie making"), is often questioned, criticized, redefined, explored, and even discredited in our society. Movies are a brand new technology for this century, but just like the Ancient Greeks, modern movie makers take the stuff of legends and put it into a moving picture.
