Jonathan Mergui
Jonathan Yaakov Mergui (born February 10, 2000), known by his family name "Margie", is an Israeli pop and youth singer. He became famous following his participation in the fifth season of the reality show "The Next Eurovision Star", when he reached the second place in the final.
Jonathan was born in Tel Aviv and grew up in the Sheinkin neighborhood to Paddy Margie, an expert in brands and business strategy, and Meital Trabelsi, a singer and actress. Chapter 5 moved to Neve Monosson, where he excelled in his talents at ceremonies and events in the locality. As a child he studied hip hop and modern dance and made it clear that he wanted to be an international pop star. Urban high school students in Tel Aviv, one of the only high schools to teach and also pop. Margie auditioned and studied music there while still living in Neve Monson. When he was 14 his parents divorced and later his father wore again.
In 2017, he participated in the "Next Star to Irision" program. In "Screen Stage," Margie sang the song "How Far Will I Go" from the movie Moana that raised the screen and won a score of 88%.During the program, Margie excelled in singing and dancing, won the sympathy of the audience and the judges and was defined as "Israeli Justin Bieber". In February 2018, he qualified for the finals of the program, in which he competed against Chen Aharoni, Neta Barzilai and Riki Ben Ari. In September, he began presenting the Israeli fashion company Castro alongside Rotem Sela and Rif Ne'eman. In November, Margie appeared on the PLAY Festigal.
In April 2020, he signed a contract with businessman Haim Saban's record company, Saban Music Group.

Since September 2018, Margie has been in a relationship with singer Noa Kirl. The two met during the first rehearsals for the Festigal at the dance studio. He lives alternately in Tel Aviv and Yehud-Monosson due to the joint custody of his parents.
