Adrian James Monroe (born November 11, 1984) identifies as non-binary and is an American Actor. Born in New York City, Manhattan, New York, 11 minutes after fraternal twin sibling, Brooke Tatum-Monroe (also non-binary), orphaned immediately as their Mother, who’s name remains anonymous, had complications during labor, tragically left this earth at the tender age of sixteen. Father also unknown, Adrian and Brooke born at 32 weeks gestation, remained in the NICU, Adrian with a heart disorder (PSA) commonly found in pre-mature babies, remained, in the hospital for the first 3 months of their lives.
Adopted at 3 days old, alongside twin sibling, Adrian was raised in both Roman Catholic and Jewish household, where they were taught both religions were equally import to the Monroe Family.
Dr. Jeffery R. Monroe, PhD, a Physics Professor at Harvard University and Dr. Martin S. Tatum,MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, were the adoptive parents of Adrian and twin sibling Brooke, and became the first same sex couple to be granted legal adoption in New York State, May 19, 1986, nearly two years after the twins were born.
Both Adrian and Brooke, completed American High School when they were 13 years old and became the first fraternal twin siblings to graduate with a 4.0 average in the fastest time in history, 5 years, 2 months.
