Hi !
I am a physicist and am proud to participate in Wikipedia, which I find to be one of the most awesome as well as one of the most useful undertakings of the century so far. My first article was posted over the Christmas holidays 2007. It covers a previously missing area (Lamb waves) in my field of expertise (acoustics). Many thanks to my adopter User:Coppertwig who provided much technical help and valuable suggestions. I also participated (ca 2008) in a cleanup and restructuring of the article on acoustics and am happy to see it subsequently growing nicely through others' contributions.
I have added a few bits and pieces in other places. I have special interests in Arthur Stanley Eddington and in the work of Andrew J. Galambos, and general interest in physics.
My ordinary e-mail is apollock110@gmail.com in case anyone wants to reach me there. Adrian Pollock (talk) 06:18, 21 August 2011 (UTC) Adrian Pollock 20:46, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
