I'm Amee Evans Godwin, Director, Strategic Initiatives at ISKME in Half Moon Bay, CA.
I've been an advocate of Open Educational Resources (OER) over the last six years, formerly the program director of ISKME's OER Commons initiative, which provides educators, students, and the general public with free access to a collection of more than 40,000 digital textbooks, course modules, lesson plans, and other educational materials. I directed the launching of ISKME's OER Teacher Training initiative.
Previously, I was involved in developing educational programs and applications, focusing on the arts and creativity, cross-disciplinary learning, and the use of digital media to support engaging learning experiences. I am also a video maker and documentarian.
I've joined WikiProject Communicate OER to help improve the Wikipedia articles about Open Educational Resources (OER).
