Emily Porta is a first year graduate student at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Information. She is pursuing the Information Systems and Design path concurrently with the Library and Information Science path. She is currently employed by the University of Toronto Mississauga Library, as well as by the First in the Family program at the University of Toronto St. George, where she works as a mentor for new students who are the first in their family to attend University. She did her undergraduate degree in Fine Art History at the University of Toronto, with minors in English, Religion, and Book and Media Studies.
