Background Information

edit

Kredl's began in 1980 as a small food stand in Hampton, New Brunswick. It was a family business ran by Don and Paula Kredl. By 1982, the Kredl family built a market establishment where they sold local New Brunswick products during the warmer months. In 2011, long time employee, farmer, and Hampton resident, Dave Wolpin, purchased Kredl's Corner Market. By 2013, under Wolpin’s management, the market opened for winter weekends for the very first time. The market is now open all year round and 7-days a week offering fresh, organic, and local product. In 2014, Wolpin accepted investor funding to expand the market. Wolpin is owner and creator of Dave’s Produce Packs, where he farms organic and local vegetables and delivers them to over 400 families in the community per week. Surplus items are sold in the market.
