Review of Climate Change Article
editThe article on climate change had good scientific content within it to describe a highly controversial topic. Most facts were properly referenced except citation #4, most likely due to the age of the link (March 1994). The editor could provide a more current definition/link for anthropogenic climate change. I will admit that I did not check all 99 references for currency, accuracy, and plagiarism, nor did I check the 24 external links. I liked the included "Physical evidence" section, but I would like to see some topics developed a little bit further, even though there are links to separate Wikipedia articles provided. Specifically, the dendroclimatology section seemed a bit lacking. The article was well organized with sections and provided many visual aids like diagrams and graphs. Something I would want add would be the collective heat produced by machines within the section of "Human influences." The article is semi-protected and for good reason. Like I mentioned before, climate change is a controversial topic where people, businesses, and governments may have differing agendas and reasons for shutting down the idea of anthropogenic climate change. This would mean those opposed to the science of climate change could seek to alter the article in an unethical way.
