Academic Introduction and Profile

[edit]

I am a researcher and contributor to free knowledge and encyclopedic projects. This user page has been prepared to present my research framework, academic methodology and broad intellectual interests at the intersection of scientific disciplines. My work and research generally center on the intersection of Kurdish history, the historical and national geography of Kurdistan, Ottoman administrative and bureaucratic history, Oriental manuscripts, comparative philology, political and critical philosophy and linguistics.

My multilingual proficiency in various languages—such as Kurdish (native language with advanced capacity), Persian (high academic level for analyzing Iranian historical texts and archives), English (advanced academic level), Turkish (expert level for reading Ottoman documents, edicts and registers) and Arabic (deep and expert level in archival and religious texts)—provides me with a unique opportunity to access directly and without intermediaries the archives of different eras, *tahrir* registers and Orientalist works of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Fields of Research and Academic Disciplines

[edit]

1. Religion and History of Doctrines

[edit]
  • Religious History and Institutions: Scientific, critical and historical analysis of the development of religious institutions, sacred texts and regional religious discourse within the framework of the cultural and intellectual history of the Near East.
  • Canonical and Archival Texts: Researching medieval ecclesiastical texts and chronicles (particularly Syriac and Armenian writings), with a focus on analyzing historical works such as Book of Governors (Book of Governors) by Thomas of Marga and its translated sources.

2. Homeland, Kurdistan, and Historical Geography

[edit]
  • Administrative Geography of Kurdistan: Systematic tracking of changes in administrative borders, eyalets, principalities (emirates), sanjaks and historical regions of Kurdistan during the eras of Kurdish Principalities and the Ottoman Empire.
  • Maps and Tahrir Registers: Analyzing ancient maps and Ottoman cadastral records (Defter-i Hâkânî) to reconstruct the demographic, economic and geographical profile of the region in pre-modern periods.

3. Nation, Kurds, and Sociology of the Mizuri Tribe

[edit]
  • Kurdish National Identity: Historical and anthropological research on the development of Kurdish national consciousness and the socio-political dynamics of the region.
  • Elite Sociology and the Mizuri Tribe: A systematic, academic and in-depth study of the social structure, network of relations, historical anthropology, elite morphology and archival role of the Mizuri tribe in Ottoman and Iranian historical records.

4. Science, Textual Criticism, and Manuscripts

[edit]

5. Political Philosophy, Power, and Institutions

[edit]
  • Classical Political Philosophy: Research on the definition of power, state structures, dynamics of regional hegemony and the preservation of political traditions within imperial frameworks.
  • Governance Models: Analysis of strategic models of governance and administrative institutions through imperial and modern philosophical works (e.g., the political thoughts of Edmund Burke).

6. History, Archives, and Development of Civilizations

[edit]
  • General and Archival History: Systematic research in state archives to track social, political and demographic changes across different eras.
  • Civilizations and Comparative History: Tracking the processes of formation, rise and decline of civilizations based on documents and texts from various historical periods.

7. Philosophy and Critical Theories

[edit]

8. Economy and Historical Financial Systems

[edit]
  • Ancient Economic Systems: Research on systems of principalities, feudalism, taxation, kharaj and financial relations between imperial centers and Kurdish regions.
  • Land Economy and Agrarian Structure: Tracking land ownership, rural economics and economic systems prior to modern industrialization.

9. Literature, Kurdish Philology, and Alphabetics

[edit]
  • Classical Masterpieces: Critical and philological reading of the divans of classical Kurdish poets, specifically delving into works such as Mem û Zîn by Ahmad Khani and the divan of Malaye Jaziri.
  • Grammar and Dialectology: Comparative study of the morphology, grammar and phonetic structures of Kurdish dialects (focusing mainly on the characteristics of the Badini dialect).

10. Art, Visual Aesthetics, and Cinema

[edit]
  • Visual Aesthetics: Critical analysis of art history, visual aesthetics and cultural symbolism.
  • Cinematic Adaptation: Research on narrative and psychological transformation between literary works and film adaptations (such as critical analysis of the structure of the film The Shining by Stanley Kubrick in comparison to Stephen King's novel).

Alphabet Framework (42-Letter System)

[edit]

I have developed a specialized and comprehensive Latin-script system for linguistic, philological and transliteration studies. This system consists of 42 letters and is scientifically designed to designate all rare phonetic and phonological nuances in the Kurdish language. The system utilizes advanced special diacritics, such as: Ṯ, Ḧ, Ḵ, Ř, Ł, Ň. This system provides high academic precision in the transcription of classical texts and historical archives.
