Aiita Joshua Apamaku (born March 3, 1998) is a Wildlife Biologist, National Geographic Explorer and Darwin200 Leader from Uganda. His work is focused on redefining Conservation through Sciencetelling and Storytelling. Aiita is the Co-Founder of NatureWILD, a Non-profit focused on bridging the Science-policy interface to community conservation practice. He is the author of the reknown Science-communication podcast, A just Natural Africa. which expounds on the state of protected and conserved areas in Africa. He too is a member of several professional networks including the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas and Young Professionals Network. His professional track can be categorised into; Protected and conserved Areas, Sociocultural and Socioecological dynamics of people and nature, Species Conservation and Nature-climate interactions through Nature-based Solutions. Aiita is also a Global Ambassador at Youth4Nature where he actively supports the Storytelling programming and also the Nature-based Solutions track. As a content creator, he inspires storytelling and science communication by linking people's lived experiences.
