Language-based development refers to the evolution of a community that is based on cognitive behaviors and social interactions. Through the use of language, a community can express their needs and concerns to further advance socially and economically[1]. Charles Winick claims that language is a “system of arbitrary vocal symbols, used to express communicable thoughts and feelings and enabling the members of a social group or speech community to interact and to co-operate.”[2]. Through generation we have observed how language has served as a framework to conglomerate communities. As a result, societies have advanced the development of thriving communities by using language as their leading asset.
