About me

I trained as a medical doctor at St Thomas' Hospital in London.

I have been a longstanding reader of medical and scientific content on Wikipedia but have only now started to learn to make the edits that I feel will improve this valuable content.

My interests

I play the piano and am interested in ancient civilisations, recently fulfilling a lifetime ambition of visiting the sites of ancient Egypt. I am particularly intrigued by what palaeogenetics can teach us about the migrations of early peoples.^[1]
