- United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service. 2021. " Lake Cushman Area" This is an article and website developed by the U.S. Forest service that is regularly updated, so it should be a reliable source with accurate facts. It covers the topic in some depth, so it's helpful in establishing notability. [1]
- Washington Trails Association "Mount Rose" This page covers what to expect when a person goes hiking on the trail. It is regularly updated due to weather conditions.[2]
- United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service "Featured Lakes" This page has some information about recreation activities at popular lakes within Olympic national Forest. [3]
- Outdoor Project Skokomish Park. This source covers the day use areas around lake Cushman as well as its history as a state park.[4]
- Mason County Sheriff Office "Maintenance Worker Pulls Drowning Man from Lake" This is a press release from the Mason county sheriff office discussing the tragic death of a man swimming at lake Cushman. [5]
- Kitsap Sun "Lake Cushman showing more shore." The Kitsap Sun discussed with lake employees if they are worried about the receding water level and what is typical for a normal year. [6]
- Olympic National Park "Visiting Staircase" The park website goes into detail about where to stay and what this campground has to offer. [7]
- Olympic National Forest "Big Creek Campground" The forest website gives a general overview of where the campground is at what to do around it. [8]
- Skokomish Tourism talks about what the state park has to offer as well what activities visitors can enjoy. [9]
- Kitsap Sun articles discusses the road closures that took place during the height of the pandemic. [10]
- The outdoor project has briefly touched on one of the popular cliff jumping spots at Lake Cushman that is commonly referred to as "the big rock" [11]
