This page can be categorised as a List quality article. In order for it to be an A class article, it needs to be more thoroughly researched, with more information. It also needs better structuring, like subheadings, paragraphs and an introduction. Citations are also needed. However, the most important thing that this article is lacking, is that there is next to no content or information on the Wikipedia page.
Activity 2: Article: Dimitris Tsovolas
Week 7 Tutorial
Hutton is an academic from Manchester who studied at Oxford, which makes her work reliable, as it is both well researched and contains references to scholarly articles. The source was published in London in 2013 by Pickering & Chatto. Now, her work has been published by Routledge in London and New York.
The source details specific information regarding anatomy and also the whereabouts of the corpses, which makes it extremely useful. The information contained in this source was intended to provide a comparative history of an anatomical study, and how cities dealt with the need for bodies, which links directly to the Burke and Hare murders. This source is a factual source, and quite reliable, as Hutton has had the advantage of having years of experience and other sources to write this account of anatomy to aid her. In terms of structure, the source opens up with the Anatomy Act which provides historical scope, and then delves deeper into Hutton's own research. She also uses specific sources to provide evidence.
