I'm going to add this to the end of the first paragraph under Lack of Nutrition in Neo-Liberalism. I believe that in the Food Not Bombs Wikipedia article should include this information because it is important part of Food Not Bombs as an organization. Food Not Bombs strives to give communities the tools they need to eat healthy outside the community feast.
‘One of Food Not Bombs long-term goals is to help communities see what they could do in terms of being more self‐sufficient with their food’ (Giesbrecht, Forrest, & Vickers, 2008). Through the use of donated, community and locally grown food, Food Not Bombs attempts to prove that a sustainable and healthy diet for low income families who cannot always afford to eat a nutritious meal is possible by giving the tools to do so to the community.
