While the article has a lot of information, a good portion of it seems to be based on opinion rather than fact. I would like to rewrite the lead section and reorganise the filmmakers in other countries. I would also like to expand on African American Film makers and film festivals around the world. I believe something that could be beneficial to the article is to discuss how women have made advancements in different genres. Adding statistics of women involved in the American film industry might add a bit of insight to how small the amount of women involved in the film industry really is.

I would like to see you choose a topic that relates more to our class, not that cinematography cannot be political, but it would be more difficult for you to create, especially given the time constraints.
