Born in Chelyabinsk, Russia, Alisa Alyabyeva's global career in dance began when she was 6 years old. Competing internationally across Europe landed Alisa awards in Russia, Ireland, Germany, and most recently, the United States.
Since 2011, Alisa has lived her dream of competing in America and was a finalist for multiple years in the Ohio Star Ball and the United States Dance Championships. Her passion for teaching has led Alisa to the Center for Ballroom and Dance, Chicago Dance, and the Dance Center - Chicago.
Today, she continues to teach ballroom dance in the Greater Chicago Area and is actively pursuing her competitive dance career. In addition, you can find Alisa enjoying a game of ping-pong, reading a novel, or capturing the world through the lens of her camera.
