Albert Mauroni (born 1962) is a senior policy analyst who works on military chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) defense programmatic and policy issues. He writes on the US government's capabilities to counter weapons of mass destruction, to include passive defence, consequence management, force protection, and homeland security missions.

After graduating from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1985, Mauroni joined the US Army as a chemical officer and later earned a master's degree in science for administration from Central Michigan University. After seven years of active duty service, he was a consultant for the US Army Soldier and Biological-Chemical Command, the Joint Chiefs of Staff (J5 and J8), the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for the Elimination of Chemical Weapons, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
