My name is Amber Rains. I am a sophomore student at University of Southern Indiana. I am a Radio and Television major, and I am hoping to minor in Film Studies and/or Performing Arts Theatre. I am a proud member of the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. I am not very into sports, but I've always enjoyed playing volleyball. I also really enjoy watching movies and reading books. My favorite movies are The Princess Bride, Tristan + Isolde, and virtually everything Disney. My favorite books include, but definitely are not limited too, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Stand and Duma Key by Stephen King, the Fallen series by Lauren Kate, and the Shiver trilogy by Maggie Stiefvater. I also love to listen to music. While I like many, many genres of music, one of my favorites is Korean Pop, commonly called K-Pop. A few of my favorite K-Pop groups include Got7, BTS or the Bangtan Boys, EXO-K, and Girls' Generation (SNSD). However, one could find me listening to English artists as well, such as Adele, Green Day, Muse, and Beyonce, to name a few. In addition to those artists, I also like to listen to the soundtracks of Broadway musicals.
I am writing my first Wikipedia article about Iraqi journalists Saif Talal and Hassan Al-Anbaki.
