My name is Amy (though I am also known as Aimee), and I am creating this userpage because User:Persephone Hazard told me to.
I joined Wikipedia due to the lyrics of White and Nerdy by Weird Al Yankovic. I thought it would help me extend the general persona I have of being a nerd, and loving it. Other nerdy areas of my life are the fact I can do code and myspace layouts-though nowhere near as well as my brother thinks I can! I was also technology captain of my school, and I got the highest I.T. score in my final year. Coincidently, neither of those things involved much technology skill at all.
I also have, on my desk, a thesaurus and a Pocket Speller to help me through those bad English times.
I am a member of Recover Your Life and I spend most of my free time there, but also I am finishing my secondary education. Oh, I am Australian. In my spare time I like to waste hours away online, do the occasional piece of homework and work at my causal job. I like to read, too, but there isn't a lot of time for that anymore.
