In that all pages belong to the whole project, any user may edit this one. But it's generally more helpful (and polite) to discuss the proposed change on its talk page first.
There has been much discussion as to exactly what searching means in the context of Wikipedia.
In particular, use of the box labelled Search Wikipedia is seen by some as not really being a search, but something else.
This makes no sense at all to me. I think it's playing with words, and unhelpful.
But rather than join in that rather pointless game, I'll try to avoid using words such as search and searching in that context, and talk of seeking instead.
