Jag Macdonald
Jag Macdonald was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in early 2016. Jag believes that education is pivotal in the foundations of any profession and places learning at the forefront of any task. Jag is currently the Director of Macdonald Law and practices Law as a Solicitor for the firm. Being a young face in the profession, Jag has demonstrated his competence to rise above standards in the case of the Attorney-General for the State of Queensland & Anor v Wands [2019] QCA 125. He successfully approached this case and has balanced the costs scales in Queensland in all criminal litigation.
Jag has experience in a number of fields however he primarily focuses on Civil and Criminal law. He is a dedicated litigator. His day, every day, features the courtroom. Driven by results for over 10 years at MacDonald Law, his clients are close to his heart, as they are the reason he is here.
Born and raised in Toowoomba, Jag demonstrates the whole-hearted values of the country and carries these in his work. Jag graduated from Toowoomba Grammar School in 2012 and since then, he has become a member of:
