Cancer Epigenetics Society
editHi Anna, I just moved the article back to User:Anna wilder/Draft:Cancer Epigenetics Society. I would suggest that you make use of the Articles for Creation process, which will pass your article by an experienced reviewer who will check these things. The downside is that the process is somewhat backlogged, but making live an unsuitable article risks getting it cut down or deleted outright.
This material is not yet ready to stand as an article, primarily because there are insufficient sources that demonstrate the topic's notability, as defined for purposes of Wikipedia. Basically that means that multiple third parties that have no direct connection with the topic must have written about it in more than a passing mention. You have not yet provided such references for the society (and BTW, you can't use references to Wikipedia itself at all (your ref #2), because WP is crowdsourced and thus not reliable :). I do suspect that there may be trouble finding this kind of coverage for an organization that is only a year old. It is entirely possible that the society just hasn't reached sufficient notability yet, in which case no amount of rewriting will do the trick. You will have to determine that with some searching. - Cheers --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 08:26, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
