TidyTools is a user script that automatically organizes the links in the sidebar "Tools" menu into alphabetical order.
Wikipedia tools often appear in a random, cluttered order that changes every time you load a page. TidyTools fixes this issue to create a consistent, easy-to-read menu.
Features
[edit]- Alphabetical Sorting: Sorts all tool links from A to Z on page load.
- Automatic: Detects when new tools appear (even those that load slowly) and sorts them immediately so the list stays organized.
- Consistent: Ensures your Tools menu looks the same on every page load, making it faster to find what you need.
Installation
[edit]- Go to your common JavaScript and paste in the following line:
{{subst:iusc|User:Anne drew/TidyTools.js}}
- Save the page.
