Article Evaluation
- Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference? I believe that each fact is referenced with an appropriate, and reliable reference except for the first one. The only reason I believe that it is not reliable is because I got an error when I tried to open the page. After clicking the 'Home Page' on the Error page, I was taken to the Ontario Soccer Association. I read the article and found that Harry Manson was only mentioned for his award. One of the articles is done by CBC, another was by the Georgia Straight.
- Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you? Everything in the article is relevant to the article topic although there is not a lot of information on Harry Manson because he was born in the late 1870's and died in 1912. One thing that did distract me from the article was his death. Although there is not much written on Harry Manson, one thing that did distract me from reading his wiki page was the way he died. It was a tragic death and to me, I don't think mentioning the way he died was very significant.
- Check a few citations. Do the links work? Is there any close paraphrasing or plagiarism in the article? As mentioned above, one of the links for the citations came up as an error page. The other links work and there is no plagiarism in the article.
