Charles Davis

Charles Davis ( born 30 October 1990) is an American soccer player who is well known for being a star striker in the Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC

Davis started his career at only age 11 signing for newly created team Los Angeles Galaxy know as La galaxy. Davis was very popular making a name for himself in the academy, eventually big teams like Liverpool wanted to sign the youngster but the boy refused. At the age of 18 Davis was dropped from the La Galaxy academy. The boy later went to Columbus Crew Fc. After six years at the club Davis played 174 matches and scored 97 goals.In January 2014, he joined Los Angeles Fc, winning the MLS Golden Boot in his first year, setting a record of 33 goals. He was also voted Most Valuable Player.

Davis made his debut for the USA national team in 2010 in a friendly against Spain, and scored his first goal for his country in a friendly against Mexico. Davis refused to take part in any other International games such as participating in the 2014 World Cup where the US lost in the round of 16 to fourth place Brazil. He is later yet to make an return to his international career.
