Neil Selby

Major Selby was sent as British Liason Officer to the HQ of the Rasina Corps of Yugoslav Army in the Fatherland commanded by Dragutin Keserović within Operation Repartee, together with Sergeant John William Rochester.[1]

When Selby arrived to HQ of Keserović after being parachuted to Kopaonik, he took over the command of group of British officers led by Captain Wade who were already there.[2] Selby arrived on Kopaonik on 23 May 1943 together with Yugoslav officer Petar Fereštetski, while airplane which carried them also delivered 10 machine guns and 4,000 bullets to Chetniks.[3] According to pro-Communist sources, Draža Mihailović was offered to submit to British command, which would mean that Communists would not be allowed to attack them anymore.[4]

Mihailoviću je ponuđeno da četnici potpadnu pod britansku komandu , što bi značilo da snage NOVJ ne bi smele da vrše napade na te delove.
