Antonio Soma de Menezes is a sailor born on 19 April 1991 in Luanda, capital of Angola, he did his high school at Escola Catolica Sao Jose in Luanda itself then joined the Catholic University of Angola where he was doing a degree in economy. He then earned a scholarship from the Angolan governament oil company to study Nautical Science in Scotland at City of Glasgow College. Later joined the Sonangol oil tanker fleet till date sailing as a second mate and striving to be a chief mate as well as a master in the near future.
