Exhibits and attractions
editExpedition Africa!
editOpened in 1998,"Expedition Africa!" became the zoo's largest expansion in it's history. Expedition Africa! includes two sub-attractions, the Savanna and the African Aviary.
African lion, greater flamingo, eastern bongo, common hippos and ring-tailed lemurs.
African Aviary
editAfrican spoonbill, blue-bellied roller, white-headed buffalo weaver, superb starling, African pygmy goose and yellow-billed ducks. The aviary also features a small terrarium home to a family of Madagascar hissing cockroaches.
