Founded in 2018 by Roger Hardy, Sabrina Liak, and Joseph Thompson:[1][2], the company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia.[3] KITS Eyecare operates on a direct-to-consumer (DTC) model, offering a selection of eyewear products at various price points through its online platform.[1][4]

KITS Eyecare was established in 2018. In October 2021, the company went public on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the ticker symbol "KITS."[5]

2024 Developments

In 2024, KITS Eyecare expanded its product line to include KITS-branded Daily Contact Lenses and smart glasses from brands like Ray-Ban Meta and Lucyd.[6][7][8] The company also launched its own line of Pangolin smart glasses. Additionally, KITS formed a partnership with TELUS Health to offer direct billing for vision care.[9]
