Agniya Alekseyevna Polyantseva (Russian: Агния Алексеевна Полянцева; 2 January 1909 — 24 September 1988) was a Soviet military pilot, participant in the Great Patriotic War.
Biography
editPolyantseva served in the 586th Women's Fighter Aviation Regiment. She was commissar and commander of the 2nd squadron.
She joined the regiment while stationed at the Voronezh airfield. Before that she graduated from the flying club, then from the Moscow Aviation Institute. She worked as a test pilot in the aviation industry squadron. In summer of 1941 she flew fighter planes after repairs at front-line airfield.
Since February 1946 she worked as a test pilot at aviation plant No. 464 in Moscow.
